Please mark your gift as "Special Project". Thank you.

Reminder:  The weekly insert in the bulletin gives the names of those individuals who are scheduled to serve in different capacities in the morning and evening services of each week.  Please check it regularly to see if your name is there for either service. TODAY (on one side) or NEXT WEEK (on the back side). If you are scheduled for either day and can not fill that spot, please try to get someone to fill in for you, or call Loretta at 765-4986. Just one spot left vacant can create a void in the ongoing functions of our church.

Thank you to the following who volunteered to drive the van on Sunday mornings to bring individuals to church:  Ken Coder, Sr., Rich Howell, Ginny Anderson, and Brad Livergood.  Contact people are:  Geneva Snyder @ 765-4445 and Marsha Peters @ 857-7874.

Needed:  small toiletry items such as those you get in motels to be used in friendship baskets.  They are given to patients in the hospital and on visitation.  Please turn them in at the church office or give to Rev. Harold Altemus.

Taped messages from the 1970s up to the present will be available in the library. We are now doing all of our recordings on CDs.

Greeters and Ushers teams--A list of names of those individuals on those teams for 2008 is posted on the foyer bulletin board. If you name is not listed and you are willing to volunteer, please see Loretta Hoover or call 765-4986.  Also, make changes on the list as needed, or if you are unable to serve in this capacity, see Loretta.  The schedule will remain posted in the foyer.

Help Needed:  as most of you have noted, our multi-media equipment is seeing more and more use.  There are only a few people operating this equipment, and we can use additional help. If you have experience or have a desire to learn, please contact the church office.  We would like to have enough people involved, so that the work load can be spread out.

There is a link on the website to Christian Book Distributors. All items ordered on this link, including books and music will have 10% of the total order given back to the church. Please keep this in mind if you are planning to order.

In the mood for a good book? Check out the church library in Room 16.  You will find books on doctrine, the end times, devotionals, biographies, children and adult fiction, as well as tapes and videos.
